The Main Page is the main welcome point for most new readers of Wikitravel. For this reason, we have a specific policy for editing the page. We want to highlight our best articles, and make it easy for new readers to find the information they're looking for. So, we have a specific main page policy, located at [[Wikitravel:Main Page guidelines]]. Please check there and make sure the changes you're making conform to the policy ***BEFORE*** editing this page.
 +

 +
Note that we have a few articles under each continent or section on this page. These are **NOT** the only articles for each continent or section; just the ones we want to have "featured". To add a new article to Wikitravel, **DON'T** make a link on this page. Instead, look for a more local place to make your "starter link". For example, if you're doing an article about a new city, navigate through the continent, country, and region that city is in, and add the link there.
