Lower Diabaig is a village in Highland in Scotland.

Get in[edit]

By car continue on the road through Torridon to the end. Walk around the coast from Wester Alligin or the other way from Red Point near Badacro

Get around[edit]

The start of the walk to Wester Alligin is a bit dodgy but there are easy (and delightful) walks up to the loch at Upper Alligin and (albeit longer) to Red Point. The latter passes Craig [1]

See[edit][add listing]

In the immortal words of a youngish visitor, 'There's naff all there.' It is just a beautiful village near Sea-Loch Diabaig. It is now written up in climbing guides but few climbers stay the night. Actually there is an old graveyard in the woods, though you may need local help in locating it.

Drink[edit][add listing]

If you want a handy pub, don't stay here. The nearest is all of 8 miles by a narrow winding road!

Sleep[edit][add listing]

SYHA Youth Hostels at Craig and Torridon. Some houses for seasonal renting in Lower Diabaig.
