Revision as of 16:34, 25 September 2006Lisburn [1] is split between County Antrim and County Down in Northern Ireland. It has a nice square and plenty of the usual British shops. On the square there is a tourist office with very helpful staff. Along with Newry, Lisburn received its Royal Charter as part of the Queen's Jubilee celebrations of 2002.
Get inLisburn is about ten minutes drive South West of Belfast. Get aroundSeeDoLisburn has a great theatre, the Riverside. BuyEatDrinkSleepNo hotels exist currently in Lisburn , but there are Bed and Breakfasts, etc. One is located within one minutes walk of the city's main shopping centre Bow Street Mall. There was recently publishised plans in the local paper, The Star about a new hotel planned to be built in the city. Get out
