The base of the falls is easy to reach from the village or the parking grounds (15 minutes walking on flat ground). The entrance fee is 1.50 Euros per person. You can reach the top of the falls on a wide and well implemented way. Nevertheless, 380 meters of altitude must be climbed, and sometimes, the way is really steep. Contents

Get in

Krimml can be reached by car, train or bus.

By Car

Krimmel is located at the base of the Gerlospass, a road charged with a fee of 7 Euros per car. If you come through the Pinzgau-Vally and don't want to cross the pass, you only need to take one of the big parking grounds around the village. The fee is 4 Euros per car. If you have come across the pass or plan to cross it, you better take the parking after the toll barrier, which is free if you once have payed the charge for the pass.

By Train or Bus

The train station is 2.5 km outside of the village, but there seem to be good connections during day time.

By Bicycle

There are bicycle rentals in Krimmel and in the neighbour village Wald. Both villages claim to be "bike friendly".
