Jutland (Danish: Jylland) is in Denmark.

Major Towns

Other destinations

  • Ribe Denmarks oldest city, with pretty medieval buildings and cobblestoned streets.
  • Billund Home of the original Legoland park, and a major airport.
  • Jelling Massive carved runestones from the 10th century is a world heritage site.
  • Ebeltoft Old charming city center, the worlds biggest intact wooden ship, and beatiful nature.
  • Læsø Off the beaten path island in Kattegat with unique architecture and atmosphere.
  • Blokhus The beatiful wide sandy beach is one of the west coast's largest tourist draws.

While English speakers are perhaps less prevailent than in Copenhagen, most people under 50, will still have atleast some understanding of the language. German language proficiency is far better in Southern Jutland and the West coast, than anywhere else in Denmark, and in those regions almost everyone will have basic understanding of German, due to the overwhealming number of German tourists decending on the beaches in the summer months.
