Huila is a department in the Andino region of Colombia.

  • Nevado del Huila National Park - Created in 1997 with the objective of preserving its Andean forests and perpetual snow. This reserve hosts numerous springs and torrents that go on to become the Rio Magdalena and the Rio Cauca.
  • Rivera - The most famous aguas termales of the department and a year round temperature of 24C makes this city worth of being called the "medicinal town of Huila".
  • San Agustin - Important archeological center of Colombia with numerous megalithic sculptures, some of which over 3000 years old.
