Horezu

Horezu is a town in the northern part of Oltenia, close to the Carpathian mountains. Understand Horezu is best known for the traditional pottery manufactured in the area and for its 17th century monastery. Get in There are hourly buses from Ramnicu Valcea (trip takes one hour) and less frequent ones from Targu Jiu (about two hours away). Get around The town is small enough to be walkable.
