Haukeli is a small mountain village in Telemark. In the vinter the are big activity in the skisenter and at Hardangervidda. It is popular to go skiing form cabin to cabin in Norway. In summer the are many small shops in Edland. In Edland can you find a gas station, grocery store, sports shop and retaurants.

The road is going inside the Haukeli tunnel. Who was the longest tunnel in Norway when it opened in 1968 to 1982. You can also take the old road over Dyrskar, it is beautiful and exiting.

Haukelifjell have a great skisenter that has a familyprofile. With 4 lifts and a magic carpet and lots of space off piste. There are lot of opportunities for rent of cabins and apartments in the middle of the skicenter. There are a turist information (new this year), small grocery store and a booking office.
