Glenelg is a village in Scottish Highlands. Historically, it has been the major port for travelling to Skye.

For other places with the same name, see Glenelg (disambiguation).

Get in

There's a picturesque road leading to Glenelg from Shiel Bridge. There's also a small car ferry [1] connecting Glenelg with Kylerhea on Skye, from where you can drive further onto Broadford. It's an alternative to getting to Skye over the toll bridge.

Get around

Best on foot.

See the brochs.

Take a walk along Gleann Beag or along the coast [2]

There's a campsite and a B&B.
