Gifu (岐阜) is the capital of Gifu prefecture, Japan.

Get in

By plane

There are direct services about once per hour from Chubu International Airport to Gifu, or you can change trains in Nagoya.

By train

Gifu is a station on the Tokaido Shinkansen line between Osaka, Nagoya and Tokyo. There are also many express and commuter services to Nagoya.

The JR Takayama Line connects Gifu to Hida-Takayama via Gero Onsen.
