Funen is an island in Denmark.
The Danes talk Danish but many Danes also understand English. If you can't either of those languages you can try German since Danish pupils have German in about 3 years in middleschool.
There are also many trainconnections all over in Denmark. The biggest trainstation is in Odense, wherefrom you can go south to Ringe and Svendborg.
A good road and motorway system connect all coastal towns with each other as well from Odense in the center.Moe 16:54, 12 December 2007 (EST)
The island Funen isn't bigger that you can't get around on a bike. There are plenty of roads that allow bikes on the road or else there are many paths.
Again you can use the train. The connection goes from south of Funen, Svendborg, and up to Odense. It also goes across Funen through Odense. The trainconnection sort of looks like a capital T (on Funen).
The bus takes you to even more places than the train.
The last solution is getting around with cab. It's the most expensive way of traveling but if you don't have the opportunity to get around in car, you don't have a bike, and you don't want to travel with public means of transport you can take the cab.
