Fujiaoka is a city in Aichi prefecture, Japan.

Get in

The ride to Fujigaoka takes about 65 minutes from the airport and costs 1400yen per person. The ride from Nagoya station to Fujigaoka takes about 30 minutes on the Higashiyama (yellow) line. It is the last stop on this line.

See

Fujigaoka is known for its cherry blossoms (sakura) trees in the spring. The streets are all lined with them and it is really beautiful.

There is a great yakitori restaurant under the subway rail (about 3 blocks south of Fujigaoka station) called Yakyu-dorii. It is almost always crowded and serves really good grilled meats, veggies, and great atmosphere.
