François [1] (generally pronounced "Franceway") is a small coastal village in Southern Newfoundland, accessible by ferry.

Get in[edit]

Access to Francois is only by passenger ferry coming from the east or the west, on a limited schedule.

It also may be possible to solicit a ride from a local fisherman headed that way.

Get around[edit]

There are no car roads in François, only narrow paved walked ways which are also used by 4-wheelers.
