The is the Crown Jewel of the Formula One Season.  For those on a budget, it is fairly easy and cheap to find accommodation in [[Lyon]], and take the train to the circuit.  There is a large general admission area near the Rascasse from which you can see most of the track, and the large screen on the other side of the harbor.  The racing runs from Thursday to Sunday.
