Finhaut

Finhaut [1], Switzerland is a small village between Chamonix, France and Martigny, Switzerland. The backcountry feel of Finhaut is well known through its history along with Les Marecottes and Le Salvan and Le Triente when the English built 100 year old cog train, the Mont Blanc Express.

Finhaut is a municipality in the district of Saint-Maurice in the canton of Valais in Switzerland. It is located at 1223 meters and is of pastoral economy.

Lac d'Emosson is a reservoir partially located in the municipality.
