Take the E17 from Lille to Ghent (french: Gand, dutch: Gent) or Antwerp (french: Anvers, dutch: Antwerpen). Kortrijk (french: Courtrai) is just over the border. From the Netherlands, take the E19 towards Antwerp and move further on the E17 towards Ghent. Kortijk is indicated from Ghent on. From Germany, take the E40 from Liège (german: Lutich, dutch: Luik) to Brussels and head towards Ghent. By train Kortrijk is a train-crosspoint. The lines Lille-Ghent-Antwerp, Lille-Bruges, Ypres-Brussels stop at Kortrijk. By plane Kortrijk has its own airport in a suburb(Wevelgem), but it has no regular passenger flights.
