By train

The KTX from Seoul takes just 30 minutes to zip to Cheonan-Asan Station, but you'll need to connect to a bus to get to central Cheonan. Alternatively, ordinary trains on the Gyeongbu line connect directly to Cheonan Station in about one hour; there's even direct through service for Seoul subway line 1.
