Changde is a city in Hunan. UnderstandChangde city proper, with a population of almost 500,000 is the largest city in the prefecture of Changde (pop. 6 million). Get inThe Shimen-Changsha Railway line runs through Changde. The train station is located in the north of the city. National Highways 207 and 319 run through the city. Busses coming in from Changsha will drop travelers off at the northern terminal (just west of the train station). Get aroundBuses run regularly throughout the city on set routes.
