The Mohawk Valley is rich in history. The battle of Oriskany and the siege of Fort Stanwix figure prominately in our revolutionary war. Fall foliage is also very beautiful in this area. Being the "Gateway to the Adirondacks" the mohawk valley is a natural starting point for foliage expeditions.
