This page is for listing articles that have Outline status. These articles at least have an introductory paragraph and a template outline laid out for the article. Some of the sections of the template may have content, but not all of them. You will know where the destination is, or at least which country it is in. But the article does not have enough information to get you to the destination and keep you alive.
To identify the article as an outline use the following text:
and add it to the bottom of the page
Obviously, if you see an article that needs some work on it, you should plunge forward and just edit the page. If it meets the criteria for a usable article, just upgrade the status. We appreciate any help, even if it's just identifying where additional work needs to be done.
The wikitravel on Bangladesh depicts truthfully the prevailing Bangladesh environment. But I feel it necessary to correct the history. Before the Afghans raided Delhi Moslems were in existence in India. There wee frequent animosity between them. In 1893 the first riot happened in Bombay and exists till date. It was caused by a new govt. law to protect religious objects like mausoleums etc, e.g. Taj Mahal. Hindus asked govt. to protect cow as it is also religious object. Gandhi supported it. The British proposed an weak center and strong provinces where Muslim majority provinces will have right to secede from the center. All parties like Muslim League, rallying for a separate Muslim state and Congress, the most popular national party preferring an united India agreed to this plan. But Bordolui from Gauhati objected to it and the scheme was scraped. It caused the partition in India. As for Bengal, the then elected parliament of Bengal decided to divide Bengal into east and west. Now politicians in Gauhati wants better access to the Main land India thru Bangladesh but people in general do not trust India.
