Canmore is located approximately 106 Km (66 miles) west of Calgary on the Trans-Canada Highway and 22 Km (12 miles) east of the Banff on the Trans-Canada Highway. Canmore is adjacent to the Municipal District of Bighorn No. 8 near the southeast boundary of Banff National Park within the Alberta Rockies.
