Bequia is a small island connected by ferry to St Vincent. Admiralty bay is geared towards the sailing boats that frequent its harbour. There is a beautiful but expensive vegetable market on the main street near the dingy dock. Cheaper vegetables and fruit can be bought on back street stalls. There is a regular small party on thursdays in Frangipani one of the harbour side bar/restaurants. The local bus will take you over most of the island for around 3 EC. You can easily walk to most places-for example Admiralty Bay to Friendship bay should take less than an hour.
