Alyeska is a ski resort in Alaska, 45 minutes from Anchorage.

Get in[edit]

Getting into Alyeska is a 45 minute drive from the hub-city Anchorage using the Seward Highway, which is listed as one of 27 All-American Roads. Situated on the Turnagain Arm, this highway is one of the most beautiful in the nation and is a destination in itself. During summer and fall, keep your eyes peeled for mountain goats, bears, and beluga whales.

Get around[edit]

Yo can visit in summer time (June): Virgin Creek, Crow Creek Mine, Alyeska Mount by using the Aerial Tram to reach the top and enjoy quite a beautiful view. At this time of year you can't skiing because not enough snow but you can visit Alyeska Museum and feel a warm sunlight. You can take a walk in the Alyeska Resort Area: theres a lake, green grass, flowers, trails, camping areas etc. At that time of year it's a nice weather so the roads, trails, and highways are clean and good to go "from here to there and everywhere", either walking or driving.
