Ales stenar is in Scania of Sweden.


Ales stenar is a 67 metre long stone ship formed by 59 large boulders of sandstone, a megalithic monument from the Nordic Iron Age.


Get there

By Car

Drive to Kåseberga and park you car at the parking lot, there are lots of information signs at the parking lot. Walk the 700 metre up the hill from the parking lot and you will reach the stones.

By Train

There are no trains going straight to Kåseberga, take the train to Ystad and a buss from there.

By Buss

Take buss from Ystad.


There is no entrance to the the Stones but a guided tour will cost you 40 sek ( 4 Euro ) per person. The tour is free for children younger than 17.
