Sirince is a small town in Aegean Region, Turkey.It is a small village which is famous with its wine and houses. Sirince was a Greek Village before the Independence War. (In 1923, Turkish and Greek governments change the populations. Greek government sent the Turks to Turkey and Turkish government sent to Greeks to Greece.) Sirince is very popular by Turkish Tourists especially on weekends.

From Selcuk town ,you can take minibuses to the village ..Every hour from each direction ,costs 2. liras.

See

Sirince is a protected area architecturally..Most of the houses are heritage houses.Some are restored by the owners some are not..It is a heaven for a photographer..

Do

Apart from the historical background of the village, fantastic valleys to walk around..Olive groves , peach gardens, vine yards ...Turkey's Tuscany..

Buy

Wine , handicrafts , olive oil...

Eat

There are planty of restaurants in the village with reasonable prices..They serve local specialties and grilled meat..

Drink

You can find alcohol in every restaurant..Every house , onthe other hand, makes it's own wine...

Sleep

Many bed and breakfast , and few restored houses..
