Delete. Copied from Wikipedia [1] but because they are licenced under GNU are incompatable with CC-by-SA. -- Huttite 18:59, 5 Jan 2006 (EST)
I don't get an option to delete this one. -- Ryan 14:44, 31 Jan 2006 (EST)
It's not clear to me that vfd on en: should be enough to delete a file on shared:. I'm not sure where this came from or what it's for, though. --Evan 12:22, 5 April 2006 (EDT)
This brings up the question of how things get vfd'ed on shared. Since that's the preferred way to upload non-language-specific images (which should be most of them, I think), it seems like that'll come up more often. (Of course, most people who bother to upload to shared know about other policies...) -- Jonboy 09:56, 30 April 2006 (EDT)
Anyone still want to delete this? Are the license issues taken care of (See Image's page)? - Sapphire 17:29, 20 June 2006 (EDT)
Delete. Copyvio from somewhere. The image was deleted off of EN, because Shalom Alechem uploaded it without having the right to change it's copyright status and license. - Sapphire
Wrong spelling (liaison being the correct form), this page has been orphaned since the link on Wikitravel Shared:Liaison reports/German was fixed. Also causes a double redirect to the page below.
I think Category:Germany supercedes this. Should we go ahead and speedy delete all articles like this on Shared? -- Sapphire 15:37, 11 August 2006 (EDT)
Delete. Not sure about speedy deletion, though. Ricardo (Rmx) 22:13, 14 August 2006 (EDT)
If we leave pages like this in here, it just encourages more people to add to it. Maybe a template or something that goes along the lines of:
This is not an article, it is a space where Wikitravellers leave pictures for use with Wikitravel. If you would like to contribute to Wikitravel please help with our travel guides
I do not agree to this deletion. We use the category system om Wikitravel Shared, which makes it possible for us to create a page like Germany. The page should not, as you state above, contain any text, but this is a possibility to create a gallery page with pictures from Germany. Riggwelter 07:15, 24 August 2006 (EDT)
Doesn't Category:Germany act as a gallery? I wouldn't be against redirecting to the appropriate category, but as we move more and more to using Shared I think it may be possible for a new user who stumbles upon Shared and doesn't realize that this is the image depository and place to discuss across language policies and changes may waste time trying to creat a guide to the respective place. I really support either deletion or redirection and not creating another gallery. -- Sapphire
Yes, it does use Germany is a gallery. But, imagine when we have, say 1000 images of Germany, it would be quite a massive gallery to browse! If you, for example, take a look at Category:Sweden, I have added subcategories to make sure most images goes straight into the most suitable spot. However, we should avoid the massive category tree as seen on Wikipedia so we do not end up in subcategories with names and a level like "images of green bus stops with blue seating and yellow roof in Smallville". What I am trying to say with this example is that in order to avoid far too detailed categories, we are, more or likely, going to end up with gallery articles rather that gallery categories. However - perhaps Germany should be deleted after all, but if so, I think we need to have a subcategory tree added and the images distributed in that tree. Oops, this means I am all of a sudden pro-deletion! Well, it is perhaps the best way to go after all. Riggwelter 04:41, 25 August 2006 (EDT)
Can we just redirect to Category:Germany and be done with this? And while we are at it, can we adopt a policy of redirecting all valid Wikitravel place names to their category names whenever the occasion demands? If we delete, people will keep creating articles and it is not very intuitive to tell them that a site called Wikitravel shared should not have articles on place names. — Ravikiran r 18:31, 18 November 2006 (EST)
Exact duplicate of the earlier Image:St Francis Cathedral Santa Fe.jpg, which should have priority. (If there's something on one of the wikis linking to this page instead -- which is possible, this was the name I gave it when I uploaded it to the English-language-only page in pre-Shared days -- let me know and I'll fix it.) -- Bill-on-the-Hill 00:43, 24 October 2006 (EDT)
Not to mention that it's ugly as a boil (and a definite copyvio). However, it appears to be on Wikitravel Shared, where I'm not an admin. Could one of you folks who admin in both places take care of it? -- Bill-on-the-Hill 16:14, 4 November 2006 (EST)
I've just deleted the image and realised that the actual nomination for deletion here on shared was made on 4 November and so did not follow the 2-weeks notice. Nevertheless, copyvios from all rights reserved commercial sites can be speedy-deleted, so that's not a big deal. If anyone disagrees, please nominate the image for undeletion. Ricardo (Rmx) 17:06, 11 November 2006 (EST)
I created the above image and tried to replace it with a same but smaller file size picture to no avail, so I created the new Image:Three cenotes railway Cuzama.JPG. So now we have two of the same image. As of November 12, no pages link to the first image Image:Cuzama three cenotes railway.JPG, please delete it if possible. -- Peraltita 13:04, 12 November 2006 (EST)

Author and source not specified, in addition, the image is not being used anywhere, and it is english specific, so it should be on the english Wikitravel site only, and it was voted for deletion there already. -- Peraltita 14:52, 13 December 2006 (EST)
