[edit] Re:Den Haag
Hello.
Thank you for message on my talk page. I see the problem that you are pointing out. The reason of the problem, many subcategories under Category:Netherlands, is related to the source data used for category creation. Almost all categories were created from UN/LOCODE lists and hierarchy of the lists is poor; for example, Japan's list have 1 layer (Subdivision code) and Netherlands have no layer. Now I'm growing Japan's seed categories little by little, by hiding names of road terminals/fishing ports under names of cities/towns. If you have time, would you please grow Netherlands' seed categories little by little? At the start of work, I think it's better to put 12 provinces at the head of subcategories by using sort key like this; for example, Category:Honshu has in it and I can rewrite it to if I want to make it alphabetical order under *.
As to Template:Den Haag, though I don't know how it works in detail, general users will not use the link "What links here" to find Den Haag photos. I think it's better to create the page in main namespace rather than template namespace, and use <gallery> tag to show photos or make it redirect page to Category:Den Haag simply like the page Japan which has "#REDIRECT " in it. -- Tatata 01:21, 23 October 2007 (EDT)
