Tech:Wrong server time on fi

From Wikitravel Shared
Jump to: navigation, search

What happens[edit]

The server clock/default timezone for fi: is set to the EDT timezone (UTC-4). It should be EEST (UTC+3) in summer and EET (UTC+2) in winter.

When it happens[edit]

fi:Special:Recentchanges and comment timestamps. Jpatokal 11:02, 12 June 2007 (EDT)

What should happen[edit]

Use the correct timezone.

How to fix it[edit]

No idea. I eat jet lag for breakfast and leap over the International Date Line in a single bound, but I still find Mediawiki's handling of time exceedingly confusing. Jpatokal 11:02, 12 June 2007 (EDT)
