User stylesheet (User:Episteme/wikitravel.css in my case) does not take effect in any language versions plus Shared.

It's disabled because of the way the caching works on this site. Pages for Wikitravel get generated once when the first person loads an article; subsequent requests come from a cache. Because everyone sees the same file, it's not possible to show user stylesheets.
It may be possible to re-enable it using JavaScript, but there hasn't been a big request for user stylesheets or user javascript. I'll look into it. --Evan 09:59, 14 September 2006 (EDT)
