Tech:Typo in automatic redirection to Japanese
From Wikitravel Shared
[edit] What happens
If you browse to wikitravel.org using a browser that's set to default to Japanese, it goes to http://wikitravel.org/ja/繝。繧、繝ウ繝壹・繧ク, where the Japanese bit is severely corrupted. This means anybody arriving from (eg.) a Japanese Google search for "wikitravel" is greeted with a blank page.

[edit] How to fix it
Set the link to point to the correct ja:メインページ. Or, if that's too hard, just make it point to wikitravel.org/ja. Jpatokal 11:24, 6 April 2007 (EDT)
- It now points directly to http://wikitravel.org/ja/%E3%83%A1%E3%82%A4%E3%83%B3%E3%83%9A%E3%83%BC%E3%82%B8 (with the escapes). I just tested it by setting my language preference to ja: in Firefox, and it seems to have worked. Let me know if there's any more problems. --Evan 11:48, 6 April 2007 (EDT)
