Tech:Thumbnail formatting
From Wikitravel Shared
Moved from en:Wikitravel:Feature requests/Implemented by Evan
Given all the recent hang-wringing over link URLs, I think I need to say that the current (default) thumbnail formatting is butt-ugly. A modest proposal:
- background from dark gray to white (same color as page itself or just a tiny bit darker)
- a little more empty space within the thumb border
- more empty space around thumbs on the left and bottom sides
See also Wikipedia's new thumb appearance, which doesn't look bad at all. (Although I'm fine with the magnifying glass as is.) Jpatokal 07:09, 30 Aug 2004 (EDT)
