[edit] What happens

If You forget the "http://" in front of a website in the url="" section of a list, the link in the resulting article leads to wikitravel.org .

[edit] When it happens

Always.

[edit] What should happen

An error message should occur or there should be not link produced at all.

To me this is a feature, not a bug. In HTML, if you don't add "http://", the link is assumed to go to the same site. However, as there will rarely if ever be reason to link back to WT from a listing, this should raise a warning or assume http://... Jpatokal 07:07, 16 August 2007 (EDT)
I don't think this is a bug either. It would be nice to have the url field in the listings tags assume http:// when it is lacking, but a bug report isn't the right format for that proposal. --Peter Talk 02:29, 21 March 2008 (EDT)

[edit] How to fix it

Add http:// in front of the website.
