As far as I can tell, this is now the default... but you can't turn it off! Because of the way our caching works, a lot of the dynamic display user preferences are disabled, but for things like editing and signatures, it makes sense to allow these to be enabled. --Evan 11:00, 22 October 2006 (EDT)

I've updated the caching code to be more selective with which options are forced to the default. Edit toolbars can now be enabled or disabled by the user. --Evan 15:55, 24 October 2006 (EDT)
