Anonymously I can edit pages, like this one, but when I log in I always get this report:

[filenotfound: message=".pt not found" code=0 mode=return level=notice prefix="" info=""]

This has happened since today, November 18. Before today things were fine :-/

That's really weird. Since you're getting the error, by the way, it gets stuck in the pages, and we all get your error pages. Not good indeed!
I've cleared out the pages that had this error from your problem before, but I can't seem to reproduce the error. Do you get it when you start editing something, when you preview, when you save, or after you save? Also, can you try again -- it might have just been a transitory problem. Also, does anyone else get this? --Evan 17:57, 18 Nov 2004 (EST)

I got the error at all and various stages:

  1. when logged in, clicking on most links!
  2. when not logged in, clicking on edit almost all pages (but not this one)

The error, when it occurs during an edit, occurs when I click on the edit tab or link

The error is also reported when I Save page, but the edits do take effect.

The error was reproducible after:

  1. clearing whole cache of Mozilla
  2. clearing cache and all wikitravel cookies
  3. Using a different machine from a different IP and a different Mozilla browser version

Today, (November 19, 16:00 CET), the problem still exists for me, but Show Preview now seems to work. Previously Show Preview, on this Bug reports page, caused the error so I was unable to preview it and just hoped for the best.

I second the suggestion (below) to revert the caching behaviour for registered users. - My signature would go here! 10:06, 19 Nov 2004 (EST)

I'm back again! (16:20 CET) The problem is still there and sometimes I'm unable to open this bug reports page, (have to sneak up on it and not directly click on the link :-)

I tried to register (Anmeld) on the German wikitravel, but that gave this error:

Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in
 /home/virtual/site30/fst/var/www/html/de/extensions/Cache404.php on line 392

Links were clickable, and random page was editable, but as I could not register I could not test any further. I left a message in the Treffen discussion page (could not find the german bug reports page). It's now 16:25 CET.

PPS: (16:35 CET) When I click on en:Como, or type Como in the search box and click Go, I get the same error.

To avoid cluttering up this section with my problems, I've created a German WikiTravel user and put a log of my problems on my discussion page there. In short, it seems the german WikiTravel is working for me, but the english is not.

The problem comes (came) from the skin you had selected. I've set your skin to "monobook" in the database, and Wikitravel should work correctly for you now. I'm going to fix the software so this won't be a problem again. --Evan 16:41, 19 Nov 2004 (EST)
