I noticed that the interwiki-link of MediaWiki to Wikitravel does not work very good. See en:wikipedia:en:User:Walter/tmp. It is stupid that we need to use normal, full url's to point to Wikitravel articles from Wikipedia. Can redirects be set-up? http://wikitravel.org/en/nl:* needs to redirect to http://wikitravel.org/nl/* And so for all languages. Maybe you need to contact the MediaWiki devellopers to change the default interwiki settings of MediaWiki for Wikitravel. en:wikipedia:meta:user:Walter 05:22, 4 Jan 2006 (EST)

Looks like a bug in Wikipedia's configuration (the root url should be /, not /en/). A mail to the Wikipedia admins should suffice to fix this. It's not a Wikitravel bug though... Jpatokal 06:58, 4 Jan 2006 (EST)

Acording to Brion this a Wikitravel bug, not a Wikipedia bug. Walter 13:01, 4 Jan 2006 (EST)
It's a Mediawiki bug and I've patched it so that the project:language:page workaround that works on Wikimedia sites works here, too. I think it's sub-optimal that en:wikitravel:fr:Accueil is mapped to http://wikitravel.org/en/fr:Accueil, but as of right now that weird URL will correctly redirect to http://wikitrave.org/fr/Accueil. --Evan 14:11, 4 Jan 2006 (EST)
