Tech:Allow grouping watchlist items by week

Can we provide an option for watchlist users to group changes "by weeks" instead of "by individual days"? In such a way that many changes in a single article made across several days within a single week appear as a single line, not a line per each day when some changes were made.

For a very parttime wikitravel parttimer like myself it will definitely save time spent over watchlist to patrol (my) edits--and to keep up with discussions and changes in policies without struggling through spam and reverts that is pitifully quite frequent in our articles. --DenisYurkin 01:15, 18 May 2008

Actually, I can see some real utility to such a thing. But it's definitely very low priority—I'll put it on the backburner. --Peter ^Talk 03:44, 14 October 2008 (EDT)
