This is a go-between report from swedish Wikitravel, prepared by Riggwelter.

[edit] Progress

[edit] Progress in general

The past month has been focused on providing new and old contributors with articles to edit. This means that all towns in Sweden now have their own article, as well as every county. Over the past six months, we have noticed a considerable increase in the number of registered users, but also an increase in serious edits. However, the back side of it all is of course that we also have noticed an increase in vandalism, but this is probably normal.

[edit] New contributors

On December 23, 2006, swedish Wikitravel had 189 users. Today, we have 208 users, an increase with 19 users in a month. This is really nice!

[edit] Focus since last report

Providing new and old users with articles to work on.

[edit] Focus during the next month

We will continue our work providing users with articles to work on. We also need to go through all our existing articles - some of them have old templates, and that is not a very professional thing to show.

[edit] Special issues

Following our last liaison report, we have received further attention on two technical issues which we need to adress ASAP. We hope that the problems we have can be sorted out.

[edit] Conclusion

We are more hopeful now...last year, at this time, Wikitravel in swedish had 295 articles, most of them more or less hopeless. Now, a year later, we have 575 articles, most of them stubs, but also plenty of good and useful articles. Also, take into consideration that we have translated many of the major policy articles from en: and you find that Wikitravel in Swedish is now geared up to receive new users and entertain current users.
