Sørvágur on Christmas Day 2010 Sørvágur is a village on Vágar island in the western part of the Faroe Islands. It is located next to the only airport of the Faroe Islands Vágar Airport. Popular travel destinations near Sørvágur are the villages Bøur and Gásadalur. The view from Bøur towards the islet Tindholmur is picturesque.
