[edit] Summary
Abita Springs, Louisiana.
The pavillion building, designed by Thomas K. Sully, was originally at the 1884 World Cotton Centennial Worlds Fair in New Orleans. It was reassembled in Abita Springs in 1888. For more than a century it was some 100 yards away on lower ground near the river front, but as that location was subject to periodic flooding it was moved to this current location in 2007.
