MicroID is a Web standard that lets people with accounts on multiple services assert that those accounts belong to the same person. Identity services like claimID can check these identities.
To enable publishing your MicroID on Wikitravel, you must be a registered user and have a valid email address stored. On Special:Preferences, go to the "Misc" tab and click the "Publish a MicroID" checkbox and save. You will then have a MicroID meta tag on your user home page.
