The French Wikitravel has now 4972 pages, including 1302 actual articles

We have 841 registered users: we welcomed 22 newcomers in August

[edit] Conclusion

The French Wikitravel is growing slowly but unfortunately only a few new articles were created and many important places still don't have an article.

  • We're about to have a new main page which is likely to look like the one of the English version.
  • I had to protect the main page during a few days due to vandalism. The user finally apologized so the page was unprotected.

Merci for the report. I wish there were some lines about the Wikitours initiative you guys (as well as Spanish Wikitravel) have adopted. I think it's a relevant development even if I don't really think it suits our goals. -- Ricardo (Rmx) 15:12, 11 September 2006 (EDT)
