Thanks for moving that stuff to the Spanish page where it belongs. Unfortunately, practically all of it was copied from the official tourism website (www.turismoquidio.com), so I ended up removing it again anyway. [edit] Creation Museum

What are your thoughts on listing the Creation Museum in the Cincinnati guide? The Museum is actually about 22 miles outside of Cincinnati (subtract about five miles from where Google takes you) and from what I understand Petersburg, KY would not constitute an article. We could list it in either Hebron (Kentucky) which is where the CVG airport is, or possibly even Lawrenceberg (Indiana), but no one is likely to think Indiana when they go looking for this museum. I guess a short one liner could be included in the Cincinnati guide, but, in my humble opinion, that's pushing it. I know we don't have a Hebron guide, yet, but I could get something started and just shuffle the listing into that guide, but for now I've listed it in Northern Kentucky. -- Sapphire • (Talk) • 13:23, 8 June 2007 (EDT)

I put it in the Cincy guide because it seemed like the nearest real destination, being in the metro area. I don't have a problem with putting it elsewhere, but I'm not sure that Hebron's [1] an actual destination any more than Petersburg is. Hi Todd, I noticed you are doing redirects for counties in Illinois. I am wondering if you have a new plan for region breakdown? I know your aversion for creating articles for small places and also using government areas for places that are small, but should we not discuss this and come to a consensus? For the most part counties have been used as place markers for cities to keep the list size down in larger regions. I am not around as much lately, so I may have missed it, has the policy changed? I know I felt that counties were not very good at one point, but have changed my thoughts on that. I admit that I don't have a master plan. I was just trying to fix a couple badly-named new articles, and decided to pick up a little trash I saw in the neighborhood. I think it's counterproductive to create county articles as "place markers", because that discourages people from coming up with something better. I'd rather see a list of 15 towns in a region until someone figures out a good way to organize them, than to have an empty (except for a list of one or two towns) county article sit there as a (not very good) example of How We Do Things. For that matter, I don't think that having a list of 15 towns at the bottom level of the hierarchy is really such a bad thing. - Todd VerBeek 11:12, 10 June 2007 (EDT)

We really do need a master plan, I will join in on the discussion. I agree with you that having more then 9 listed is not really a bad thing on some levels as well, but we must do it in an organized way and not just redirect or delete because it is a small place. Some of the changes you have made are leaving behind some of what I call "hidden" orphaned pages as that may appear on a dab page or a link in a description or talk page, but not as a town in a region article. I don't know all the answers, but I will defend articles for small places and argue that there are some people that would travel there and would like to know about them, regardless if there is commercial place where you have to pay to sleep or not. -- Tom Holland (xltel) 11:34, 10 June 2007 (EDT)
