I grew up near Rochester, New York, go to college on Long Island, NY and have family in New Jersey. I've traveled every state on the Pacific and Atlantic coasts, many in between, and Hawaii. I've been abroad to Canada, Mexico, Guatamala, Caymen, Bahamas, Norway, Denmark, Sweden and Finland. I especially want to visit Japan, India, Galapagos, Scandinavia (again), Germany and Cypress. I like some major tourist attractions, usually science- or nature-related, but I love exploring a region and finding unique adventures.

I enjoy hiking, skiing, reading, running, animals, biking and linux. I am nearing the completion of a physics, math and optics BS. After that I will earn a PhD in physics, perhaps studying quantum optics. I'll be doing a lot of travel in the next year looking for a graduate school.
