There are many villages in Sindh where it is difficult to find even one English speaker. However, people have learned to develop gestures, and forms thereof, to help them communicate with foreigners as Sindh has seen a large growth in their position as a tourist destination.

If you have the opportunity to rent a car with an accompanying driver, it is a good choice if you do not know your way around. Other forms of transportation include the taxis, lavishly decorated buses, and "rikhshas," a type of transportation common only to countries in the Indian subcontinent.

Many people drink sodas from the original glass bottles that you must return to the vendor so that they can be washed and repackaged. Other, more culturally interesting drinks include "lassis," a blend of sweet yougurt and mint, and "kawah," a strong tea made with spices. YUM!!!
