Hi Tatata, I noticed that you are interested in involving Tatatabot on Spanish Wikitravel. We don't have a nomination process, so I have gone ahead and unilaterally flagged Tatatabot on the Spanish version as a bot [1]. Hi Tatata, since you seem to be a mediawiki genius.... I have always thought it would be great if at shared:special:upload we could remove "none selected" from the licenses, and have it default to ccbysa 1.0. That way if nobody changes anything to a different license, that one will show up. It's already our policy anyway that all uploads are assumed to be 1.0 unless stated otherwise, but this would make the license show up instead of nothing. Do you know if we can accomplish this without IB's help, since they aren't really paying attention to tech requests anyway? – cacahuate talk 2009年6月5日 05:30 (JST)

Hi Tatata! Have you ever thought of incorporating your modifications to pywikipedia framework by applying respective patches? family.py and wikipedia.py are edited quite often, so I feel like it would be most helpful to have these changes incorporated to the common code so all bots would be able to work in a consistent way. I thought, it's good idea to incorporate my modifications to the framework. But unfortunately I'm just a beginner, Tatatabot is my first and only experience in Python programming. And I don't know at all how to use svn nor how to make and throw patches. ;-) -- Tatata 2009年9月10日 12:57 (JST)

あ、「同意」って、そのような使い方をするのですね。失礼しました。
前回のたぬきさんの選考については、「推薦受付後、14日間の討議期間を経て、2人（以上）の他の管理者の賛同と、推薦された人の管理者就任への同意、そして目立った反対がなければ、その候補者に管理者としての権限が与えられます。」との規定に基づいて処理しようと思います。「2人（以上）の他の管理者の賛同」の部分についてですが、日本語版では実質上日常的に活動している管理者が現在2人しかいないので、できれば「他の（日常的に活動している）ウィキトラベラーの賛同をもって読み替えることができる」みたいに少し条件を緩和したいのですが、いかがでしょうか（Tatataさんの方は、保留からお考えを変えるつもりはありませんか）？--Shoestring 2009年10月5日 23:48 (JST)

教えていただいた英語版の議論を読みました。そうですね。有効票に関する定義がない以上、理論的には今日登録したユーザーも一票を投じることができるわけで、そのような状況の中で投票の有効性を担保するためのしくみのひとつが「少なくとも管理者2人の同意」なのでしょう。だとすれば、推薦人を含む管理者2人くらいまで解釈を拡げることができても、現時点では合意形成を経ることなく、それ以上の基準見直しを安易に行うべきではありませんね。--Shoestring 2009年10月6日 22:00 (JST)

[編集] Newsitemテンプレート改良のお願い

現在トラベルニュースで使用しているテンプレート、"Newsitem"に関して、Tatataさんに一つお願いがあります。

ニュースの情報源については、現在のところ「朝日新聞」とか「読売新聞」などのように、ソース名だけが表示されるようになっていますが、このような形式だと、例えば朝日新聞の記事から転載したものなのか、朝日新聞の記事を基にして書き直したものなのかの区別がうまく伝わらないのではないかということに最近気づきました。

もしそうであるとすれば問題がなくもないので、例えば「情報源：朝日新聞」といったように、記事そのものの転載ではないというニュアンスをもう少し強く出したいと思っています（もちろん単なる転載というのは著作権上も問題があるのでこれまでも行ってはいないのですが、あまり知らない人が見た場合に、それら新聞などからの転載と勘違いして、当該新聞の記事を探したり、新聞記事の内容そのものとして孫引きしてしまうような可能性も否定できないので）。

テンプレの改良については自分で行えばいいのですが、あいにく技術面に暗いので、うまく手を出すことができません。もし上に述べたような趣旨に賛同いただけるなら、そのような、「情報源：」というアナウンスが出る形へのテンプレートの改良をお願いできないでしょうか（文言は特にこだわりません）？よろしくご検討のほどお願いします。--Shoestring 2009年11月8日 00:07 (JST)

点線枠を使用して、文字の大きさと色を変えてみました。どうでしょう? 点線枠を使用しない方が良いとか、文字は小さくしないほうが良い、色を変えない方が良いなどのご意見がありましたら、遠慮なさらずにお知らせ下さい。 -- Tatata 2009年11月8日 01:24 (JST)
早速対応いただきましてありがとうございました。やはり改良版の方が、記事の転載ではない旨のニュアンスが伝わっていいですね（今回のテンプレート改良を生かすため、合わせてトラベルニュースの冒頭にも転載でない旨の注記を念押しで追加しておこうと思います）。
点線枠はItemテンプレートなど他のテンプレートとも共通のデザインですので、体裁の統一の上でもこれでいいのではないかと思います。とりあえず今回改良していただいた版で試してみて、また他の人から文字の大きさなどで意見が出た場合に考えたらいかがでしょうか？--Shoestring 2009年11月8日 09:06 (JST)
