スウォンジー城 (Swansea Castle)   12世紀初頭にHenry de Beaumontの手によって、この地方の行政府として建てられた城。その後、イングランド人やウェールズ人の間で所有者を転々とした後、14世紀にBraoses家の所有となったが、当主があまり使用しなかったため徐々に荒廃した。18世紀には刑務所としても使用されたことがある。現在城は廃墟となっている。  所在  スウォンジー駅から徒歩2キロほどのシティ･センター内。  電話  -  WEB  [1]  開場時間  -  料金  -

オイスターマス城 (Oystermouth Castle)   スウォンジー城の所有者でもあった、Braoses家が所有していた城。Braoses家は、スウォンジー城より、こちらの城の方に好んで滞在した。  所在  スウォンジーのバスステーションからバスで約15分ほどの所にあるマンブルズのバス停からさらに歩いて約5分

Gower半島 (Gower Penisular)   イギリスのリゾート地として有名。スウォンジーはその入口の町にあたる。半島内にオイスターマス城などの見どころがある。  所在  スウォンジーのバスステーションからバスで約15分
