Based on the same concept than Nathalie’s Gourmet Studio with a menu changing every month and dishes made with passion, you’ll enjoy Nathalie’s creations for lunch, high-tea and dinner. With the help of Chef Evert Onderbeke, Nathalie will welcome you from Monday to Saturday in her little part of France.
The restaurant, previously known as High Tide, has been fully renovated to match with Nathalie’s cuisine and her vision of the french culture. Cuisine Gourmet by Nathalie is a reflection of herself, modern, innovative and generous. As a real perfectionnist she made sure that her Team cares about every detail so you’ll always spend a memorable moment. Each creation is done to the highest degree of finess, subtlety and has an imprint of many past memories and unforgettable encounters.
About Nathalie :
Nathalie Arbefeuille has always had a passion for cooking. She is now known in Kuala Lumpur for her smart, modern, festive and delicious cuisine.
Nathalie is a self taught cook who was initially inspired as a young girl by her grandmothers and her mother in Angoulême, France, where she grew up. Once a working girl in Paris she was known by all her friends and those who knew of her, for her stylish midweek dinner parties. A.er devoting her life completely to her passion, she has had many opportunities to hone her skills through master classes with internationally well known industry professionals. Most significant for Nathalie has been the training she received in Valence, France, with the newly Michelin awarded three starred French chef Anne-Sophie Pic. It was with Anne-Sophie that Nathalie learnt organisation skills and rules of the Art and derived great inspiration and enthusiasm to develop her own recipes and style.
For more than ten years Nathalie has organised and prepared fine dining events and cocktail parties for renowned guests and diplomats in Bangkok then in Kuala Lumpur where she’s now been established for 6 years. On 30th April 2010, she realised her dream and opened her restaurant : Nathalie’s Gourmet Studio.
Combining a Cooking Studio where she conducts Cooking Classes for non-professionals food lovers and a Restaurant where she serves breakfast, lunch and high-tea, Nathalie’s Gourmet Studio has become within a year the place to be to taste a french modern and innovative cuisine. Nathalie has also become one of the most popular caterer among the gourmet dinners in Kuala Lumpur. With personalized luncheons, dinners or cocktail parties she will surprise you with her latest creations.
Nathalie’s signature Macarons are the delicacies everyone is craving for in Kuala Lumpur. With more than thirty different flavors (from traditional macarons such as chocolate, vanilla, salted caramel,… to more usual ones like lavender and apricot, gingerbread, lemongrass,liquorice, …), her macarons have no challenger in town and this is not by chance that she sells around 10 000 pieces every month.
Nathalie is also conducting Team Buildings at the Studio and she shares her expertise helping local companies in developing products and recipes.
As a logical result and with the help of a local partner trusting her, she’ll continue her success story with a second restaurant, Cuisine Gourmet by Nathalie this time downtown KL. There, she’ll serve lunch and dinner for everybody to have the chance to enjoy her cuisine. With the same concept than Nathalie’s Gourmet Studio with a monthly menu, her new restaurant will be more fine dining in the evening but still affordable for everyone. Cooking means sharing for Nathalie and offering amazing dishes at an affordable price is her leitmotiv for years.
