Esta es una nueva iniciativa pionera de Wikitravel Español mediante la cual pretendemos fomentar la colaboracion de los Wikiviajantes en este protecto.
El objetivo principal es la elaboración de un cuaderno de bitácora que contenga datos sobre los diferentes destinos en los que hayan estado nuestros Wikiviajantes, pero que también puedan ser completados y ampliados por otros Wikiviajantes.
El formato de este tipo de proyectos está aún por determinar, pero en esencia se pretende que cada uno cuente un tour o viaje que haya realizado y del que tenga suficientes datos como para realizar una exposición a los visitantes de Wikitravel. Es recomendable incluir datos que sean de utilidad como transporte o alojamiento, además de opiniones sobre lugares e imágenes de estos.

Es muy facil, solo tienes crear una página con el nombre Wikitour:Destino, escribiendo esto en el buscador y clicando en create this page. Por ejemplo si quieres crear un Wikitour sobre Francia, tienes que escribir Wikitour:Francia
Despues de editar tu Wikitour, puedes poner en la parte superior la plantilla identificativa de Wikitour con el fin de que los visitantes sepan en qué sección de Wikitravel están navegando. Para poner la plantilla, escribe {{Wikitour}} en tu artículo. Si no lo haces, otro Wikiviajante lo hará por tí.

PERU 4x4 North
LIMA – TRUJILLO – CHICLAYO – CAJAMARCA – CHACHAPOYAS – CHICLAYO – LIMA 15 days / 14 nights
Day 01... / Lima Welcome to Peru! Arrival to Lima’s International Airport. Reception and transfer to the selected hotel. Check in and overnight.
Day 02 Lima After breakfast, transfer to the archaeological site of Pachacamac, where you begin your guided tour. Pachacamac is a sacred ceremonial site which dates back to early Christianity. It is said that thousands visited this sacred citadel in order to visit the oracle which could foresee the future. When the tour is over, we head back to the hotel. Overnight.
Day 03 Lima / Trujillo Early morning departure from Lima (5 am). We take the North Pan-American highway until Km. 182 (3 hours aprox) to visit “The Oldest City in the Americas known as Caral". With a guide you will visit 6 monumental pyramids. This city dates back 5000 years, and it is chronologically located parallel to the constructions of the Egyptian pyramids and Mesopotamia civilization. The journey continues to Paramonga, which is located 205 Km. north of Lima; There you will find archaeological remnants too, which date back to pre-Inca era. From the top of the Paramonga Fortress you can see the valley in all its vastness. Then our trip proceeds to Sechin. As in all our trips, here you will appreciate another archaeological place, too. Here you will find a big engraved wall with warriors, mutilated enemy soldiers. This fortress was built in 750 b.c. by the Sechin culture. We continue our journey to Trujillo arriving late in the evening. Check in and overnight.
Day 04 Trujillo After breakfast, you will visit the nearby Temples of the Sun and Moon. Built by the Moche culture around 500 AD. These 130-feet tall pyramids are thought to be the largest adobe structures in the Americas. Afterwards guided visit of the Brujo archaeological complex. In this site the Lady of Cao was discovered. The tour continues to the huge Chimu city complex of Chan Chan. In pre-Inca times this was the largest city in the Americas and was the same size as contemporary London - it originally covered over 20 square kilometres and had an estimated population of over 100,000 people. Concluding the guided tours we head out to the nearby beach resort of Huanchaco where you can enjoy the local seafood (not included) and also spend a relaxing afternoon at the seaside. Transfer to the hotel and overnight.
Day 05 Trujillo / Chiclayo After breakfast, we continue our trip to Chiclayo in a 4x4, on the way we will visit Huaca Rajada where the Lord of Sipan was discovered and also where the Royal tombs Museum is located. Here you can see all the objects which were found in the tomb of Sipan. Afterwards we continue our journey to Chiclayo. Arrival, accommodation and overnight.
Day 06 Chiclayo After breakfast, full day excursion to Lambayeque where you will visit the Tucume Pyramids and its local museum. We then continue our excursion 50 kms east of Chiclayo to Batan Grande, known as a sacred religious site of the Sican culture. Concluding the tour we head back to the hotel in Chiclayo and overnight.
Day 07 Chiclayo / Cajamarca After breakfast, at fixed time you will leave Chiclayo in a 4x4 to the city of Cajamarca. After 6-hour drive, you will arrive to this beautiful city. Check in at the hotel. Overnight.
Day 08 Cajamarca After breakfast, guided tour around the city of Cajamarca, where you will visit the Main Square, Cathedral, catacombs, Museum of San Francisco, Chapel of la Dolorosa, Colonial Hospitals, Belen Museum, Rescue Room, (room in which the Inca “Atahualpa” filled with gold and silver to pay for his life) and Santa Apolonia hill. Return to the hotel and free time at your leisure. Overnight.
Day 09 Cajamarca After breakfast, excursion to the stone forest of Cumbemayo, on our way we will also visit Bellavista and Layzon. Upon arrival in Cumbemayo we will have the opportunity to walk through the stone forest as well as the Sanctuary and Aqueducts. Concluding the excursion, return to the hotel and the rest of the afternoon free at your leisure. Overnight.
Day 10 Cajamarca / Chachapoyas After breakfast, early in the morning, departure in a 4x4 to the city of Chachapoyas. Taking the route to Celendin, driving over the Marañon Canyon, one of the most beautiful and deepest in South America. Here you can see a variety of microclimates as well as the contrast of its geography. You will go down from 3065 m.a.s.l to 700 m.a.s.l where the small town of Balsas is located and continue again up until reaching Leymebamba at 2150 m.a.s.l. After lunch, guided visit throughout the Mallqui Museum, where you can see more than 200 mummies, which were found facing towards the Condors lake. Arrival in Tingo and check in at the hotel. Dinner and overnight.
Day 11 Chachapoyas
After breakfast you will visit Kuelap, a spectacular pre-Inca City, hidden at the top of a mountain. Although Kuelap was discovered 60 years before Machu Picchu, it is not really well-known to the outside world. But because of recent and amazing discoveries in nearby areas which relate to Kuelap and to its history, it has captured the attention of archaeologists and International magazines as well as film companies. After box lunch we continue the guided tour of Kuelap. Return to Chachapoyas arriving late in the evening at the hotel. Dinner and overnight.
Day 12 Chachapoyas After breakfast, we begin our excursion in 4x4 to the small city of Cruzpata. From here on we start the trekking. After 30 minutes aprox. we arrive at the Sarcophagus of Karajía, which is 2.50m high. Approximately. Lunch is included. Afterwards a short visit to the Sarcophagus of Ayachaqui, located north of the small city of Lamud. Concluding the day we leave in a 4x4 back to Chachapoyas. Arrival to the hotel. Dinner and overnight.
Day 13 Chachapoyas / Chiclayo After breakfast, we begin our excursion in 4x4 to the small city of Cruzpata. From here on we start the trekking. Day 14 Chiclayo / Lima After breakfast, board flight back to Lima. Arrival and transfer from the airport to the hotel. Check in. Rest of the day at your leisure or ask for optional tours.
Day 15 Lima / ... After breakfast, at fixed time transfer to the airport to catch your flight out. (Please request for optional tours).
