Aunque en muchas termas los baños de hombres y mujeres están separadas, las de Géllert no lo están.
Estas seguro de eso? tu has estado en los gellert? yo he estado 2 veces en Budapest, la ultima en 2004, y no creo que haya cambiado. hay una zona de baño comun (piscinas corrientes), y luego las zonas de baños termales estan totalmente separadas.

The entrance hall and mixed swimming pool are just as beautiful as in the pictures, but the segregated thermal baths aren't identical as claimed. The stunning photos all come from the gents' side. None of the extravagant blue ceramics, no art nouveau tiles, statues, fountains and elaborate brass handrails for us girls - the ladies' baths are more like a 70s municipal pool where a plain grey/murkey green colour sheme is tarted up with a few half-hearted mosaics. It's nothing like the photos you'll see - those are all of the men's side. Everyone pays the same price, and while the men in my group told me the facilities provided were the same (2 hot pools, sauna, plunge pool), I can't help thinking most tourists are visiting the Gellert more for the splendour of the decor than to sit in some hot water with naked Hungarians. Women travellers to Budapest might prefer baths where you get to enjoy the same surroundings as the men."
este ultimo comentario es de oct 2006, asi que dudo mucho que haya cambiado. creo que es importante poner que las zonas estan separadas para no llevarse una desilusion (la primera vez que yo fui no lo sabiamos y la chicas y los chicos nos tuvimos q separar). no es lo mismo si ya sabes que es asi, a llegar y despues de pagar que te separen.
El día 28/10/2007 no vi la separación por ninguna parte. El único momento que me separé de mi mujer (estoy hablando de las termas Gellért) fué para ir a cambiarnos de ropa, pero luego nos juntamos en el mismo sitio que yo me cambiaba, pues era el sitio de paso para las termas (donde están las cabinas donde dejas la ropa y te cambias). Tanto en las termas como en el resto de instalaciones, compartí con mi mujer y con otros varios hombres/mujeres las instalaciones.
