Zhuangjiajie

Zhuangjiajie is in Country name. Zhuangjiajie, in Hunan Province, is an up and coming tourist magnet. Known for its breathtaking landscape of majestic mountains, it made headline news after James Cameron's blockbuster Avatar movie and very recently by the success of wingsuit skydivers flying through the hole in the needle of Tianmen Mountains. UNESCO World Heritage site Wulingyuan is within the Zhuanjiajie National Park.

By Air Although the media proudly proclaims the upgrading of the local airport, there is scant information as to what airlines serve this mountainous part of the country.

By Road From Changsha.a superhighway connects to Zhangjiajie. Roads are continually being built and upgraded in anticipation of the expected hordes of both local and foreign tourists that are already flocking to this new found tourist wonderland.

By Rail. Also, disappointingly, no concrete information as to rail service despite claims of rail connections to just about every major city. Posibly because, the authorities has yet to get a grip on Zhangjiajie looming future as a tourist mecca.
